1 Dec 1777 Anna Margarethe ENSMINGER died at Schaefferstown, Lancaster, Pennsylvania (age 80); buried at Lutheran Church Schaefferstown Cemetery in Schafferstown, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania [The Luthern Cemetery is located near the center of the town of Schafferstown, Pa. The grave of Anna Margaretha Ensminger Wolfersberger is along side and west of the main road thru the cemetery. The head stone is hand carved out of a brown sandstone. The stone is badly weathered and very difficult to read. It has been reported that the stone also has a carving "Herrerht AdamWolffersperger." It is not known the meaning of this enscription unless it refers to John Adam WOLFERSBERGER, her spouse, and if it does, then it probably means "My master Adam WOLFERSBERGER". In Europe the middle name generally was the name used. The Adam could mean a grand son by that name that died when he was 3 years old. A memorial stone was placed at the foot of Anna Margaretha's grave bythe Wolfensberger Family Association on 27 May 1996 (Memorial Day). This stone also serves as a memorial to her husband Johannes Wolfersberger who died in in 1761. The stone lists their seven children.
